06/16/06: On Friday 9th June 2006 sweet Terra went to the Rainbow Bridge,
She has left a great void in her Family's life, and we feel sadness at her passing.
Terra, we rescued you last November, your foster family adopted you on January 12, 2006, a beautiful, mellow and friendly old Lady,
Animal control staff had asked us to help you, and we were delighted to be able
to, just these few short months on, we now look back and think 'no one knew how
long or short you would have left on this earth,' but in truth it is of no consequence,
what is important is that you were here, you filled your family's life with joy
and happiness. For anyone who is passionate about their animals knows, 'however
long they are with us, it is NEVER long enough, ' what matters is appreciating each
and every precious moment. Terra, you will be greatly missed but your body was failing
and tired and you were ready to leave, you have left wonderful memories for your
family to savour, and you will always be in their heart. thank you for the love
you brought.
Rest in Peace sweet Terra. ~~Don't cry because I've left (for in truth only my body
has gone) instead rejoice because i was here.~~ ***
